Walton Pond

kitchen

Before its full remodel, this kitchen had underutilized storage, inadequate walkway space, and didn’t reflect our client’s modern aesthetic. Our work began with the layout. We relocated appliances to create better pathways and widened the kitchen aisles by shifting the island toward the living room and centering it between the posts. With careful patching and refinishing, we were able to preserve the existing Brazilian Cherry wood flooring.

The new counter-height island provides comfortable seating with a proper overhang. We incorporated thoughtfully designed storage solutions throughout the kitchen, and collaborated with the homeowners to assign a purpose to each cabinet.

To reflect our client’s love for modern design, we installed backpainted glass front cabinetry with brushed aluminum frames, reeded glass accent cabinets, sleek sintered stone high-gloss countertops, and layered lighting to highlight the finishes and support a variety of kitchen tasks. When the owners moved back in, they felt the transformation immediately. In their words, “We are so in love with the new kitchen! The counters are staying clear and we have room for all of us to work in the kitchen at the same time without bumping into each other!”
