This home has stunning architectural bones – our goal wasn’t to reinvent the space, but to update it through finishes and function. With thoughtful edits and functional upgrades, we elevated the existing space with updated finishes, layout improvements, and meticulous attention to detail.
KITCHEN
The kitchen brings a mix of rich materials into harmony. Crisp white cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the walnut island and bar, while honed quartzite provides a subtle addition of color. A formerly octagonal coffered ceiling was reworked into clean, linear lines that echo the room’s perimeter. The island is a gorgeous and complex combination of layered heights and edges, and sleek metal framed frosted glass doors open to reveal a spacious pantry.
dining room
The dining room’s custom chandelier is a stunning focal point for the space – and wows guests the moment they walk in. Created in collaboration with Minnesota-based Hennepin Made, both the chandelier and the matching sconces were tailored down to the smallest detail. Our clients were even able to visit the shop and watch in real time as the artisans worked on the glass globes for their fixtures.
bathroom
This bathroom was fully reworked while preserving the original stonework and window layout. We replaced a glass block shower with a zero-entry design, featuring six body sprays, a rain head, and handheld – all of them digitally controlled. An oversized tub deck was removed, making way for a freestanding soaking tub set on large-format tile complete with hydronic heating. Walnut cabinetry, quartz countertops, and gold fixtures finish the space with warmth and elegance.
bar
Designed for entertaining at its finest, this is a beautiful bar with all the modern conveniences you need to host. SubZero fridge drawers, a microwave and dishwasher drawer, and hidden recycling make prep and cleanup easy. Thoughtful details make all the difference here as well: grain-matched walnut veneer, a mitered waterfall top, and outlets along with LED lighting recessed in the upper cabinetry.
